Rimmel Scandaleyes Reloaded Collection

November 1, 2016 by alice 1 Comment

Rimmel are one of my favourite high street makeup brands as they always produce high quality, reliable products that are reasonably priced. They are the perfect brand for makeup experts and beginners alike and their product range is always on trend and ever evolving. They recently released a new Scandaleyes Reloaded range and I was kindly sent a selection of products from the collection to try: the Scandaleyes Reloaded mascara* in Black and Extreme Black, and two eyeliners in Thick and Thin* and Micro*.
Rimmel launched the Scandaleyes Reloaded mascara based on consumer feedback which indicated they were looked for an extreme volume building mascara that would last throughout the day yet was also easy to remove. The new formula delivers up to 11 times more volume than their original range, is long lasting and reliable even in unusual weather conditions (e.g. high humidity).
The mascara has a new tapered max-density brush which fits the shape of the eye, capturing every lash and building volume from corner to corner, as well as glossy polymers which deliver an intense, deep black lacquer effect on the lashes. The results are gorgeous – coating each lash in mascara to give a voluminous look that doesn’t smudge.
Whilst I don’t wear eyeliner a huge amount (mostly because I’m not very good at applying it) it is something I like to occasionally attempt for evening wear. For an amateur like me, the Rimmel Scandaleyes liners are amazing as they are designed to be easy to use and versatile to suit a variety of looks. The Thick and Thin liner has a 3D slanted felt tip which enables you to draw a flawless thick or thin line, depending on how you hold it. Whilst the Micro liner has an ultra-thin felt tip which allows you to draw a super precise line that artistically defines the eyes. As with the mascara, these liners are smudge-proof, sweat-proof and easy to remove (even just with warm water).
The Scandaleyes Reloaded range can be picked up from Boots or Superdrug and retails at a very reasonable £6.99 for the mascara and £5.49 for the liners.
What is your favourite Rimmel product?
