nügg Intense Lip Boosting Mask

July 6, 2016 by alice 2 Comments

Having dry lips is one of life’s little unpleasantries, but something that effects most of us at some point each and every year. Whether they’re caused by arctic temperatures in winter, or from too much summer sun, there is nothing worse than the feeling of tight, chapped lips.

When it comes to lip products, I like to think I’ve tried them all. However when this cute gold lip mask from nügg popped into my life, I knew I’d missed something crucial in my routine.

As you would imagine, a lip mask is used in the same way as a face mask (just on the lips). You apply generously, leave for 20 minutes, and then wipe away the remains. The nügg Intense Lip Boosting Mask* is a highly nourishing mask enriched with Shea Butter & Coconut Oil which help to hydrate and soften the lips, whilst Liquorice Root Complex helps to create a plumping effect, ensuring you have the perfect pout.

The design of this mask is charming – I love the on-trend gold spherical case which is particularly cool as it can be reused once the mask is finished to hold other essentials or trinkets when travelling. The mask itself has a pleasant mint flavour and feel creamy to apply. Once removed, it definitely makes my lips feel softer and less tight and is a lovely product to apply just before bed, to ensure your lips are as soft as can be come morning. Whilst this mask doesn’t replace lip balms for me, it has improved the overall condition of my lips so that I don’t reach for balms as often.

The nügg Lip Mask retails at £9.49 and is available to buy in Selfridges, Fenwick’s or online at Beauty Bay.

Do you use a lip mask? What is your favourite lip treatment?

My fiance gets really dry lips and he's not found anything that stops them from getting chapped! I wonder if this will help… although it kind of looks rather feminine!

This sounds really cool – I hate dry lips but winter is the only time I really seem to get them in winter, think this would be a great purchase though!
