The Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara has been a firm feature on my wish list for quite some time. I’d read so many positive reviews and was desperate to give it a try myself, so when browsing in Sephora a few months ago I added it to my shopping basket to put it to the test.
The Better Than Sex Mascara is enriched with collagen which helps to separate and pump volume into the lashes, coating them with a rich, black formula. The brush is made up of tightly packed bristles in an hour glass shape which really helps to grab onto each lash and work the product through them.
For me, this mascara ticks all the boxes. It separates, lengthens and adds volume to my lashes without making them clumpy and doesn’t leave any transfer on my face which so often happens to me with other mascaras. I don’t often mention packaging but I think this product is perfectly packaged – I love the pretty rose-pink hue of the tube and think that the product feels far more solid and luxurious than so many other mascaras on the market.
The mascara retails for £17 and I think it’s worth every penny. I’ve not tried a huge amount of Too Faced products in the past despite admiring them from afar, but my love for this mascara has definitely cemented my need to try more from the brand.

It's so strange how different mascaras work for different people. I have a sample of this mascara and while I like how my lashes look when I've applied it, but it transfers and flakes everywhere on me (sob).

I've wanted to try this for so long!! I've seen so many people rave about this.. But can't choose between this one and light camera lashes by tarte! Think I might give this one a go.. Xx
