Antipodes is one of those brands that I always get excited about. Their products are organic, natural and full of goodness so I love using them and have written about them on more than one occasion.
This year, Antipodes have launched their new Worship Superfruit Antioxidant Serum* – a product designed to help fortify the skin against early signs of ageing. Whether you’re closer to 30 like me (cry!), or still a fresh-faced 20 year old, in my opinion it’s never too early to start protecting your skin against the signs of ageing. It creeps up quick let me tell you!
The new Worship Superfruit Antioxidant Serum (which is certified as organic) targets skin at a cellular level, helping to maintain a healthy and energised face. It features raw antioxidant extracts with boysenberry blackcurrant, kiwi, coffee berry, acai and Antipode’s trademark Vinzana grape seed extract at it’s core. In a nutshell, the Worship Serum works to fortify the skin barrier so that it’s better prepared to face daily aggressors – stress, pollution, free radicals, UV etc – this means it’s not repairing the skin per se, but strengthening it so that the effects of ageing are less noticeable.
The Worship Serum is a water-based serum that’s very similar in formula to other Antipodes’ serums I’ve tried. It absorbs quickly into the skin and doesn’t leave me feeling oily or sticky – if anything it has slightly the opposite effect. What’s most noticeable for me is how hydrated and healthy my skin feels after using this, it hasn’t made a huge difference to the quality of my skin (blemishes, pigmentation etc) but it has helped to make it feel healthier and plumper.
If you like natural, organic products then Antipodes is the brand for you and it would definitely be worth trying this serum out. I’ve also used Antipodes Skin Brightening & Tone Correcting Serum which was great for reducing pigmentation on my skin and is also worth a look. Antipodes’ Worship Superfruit Antioxidant Serum (30ml) is available at Feel Unique for £33.99.
