I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas with friends and family and are feeling rested and ready to take on a new year. I had a lovely Christmas with my boyfriend and his family – we had lots of fun and I felt really relaxed and happy. I was incredibly spoilt and feel so grateful to be surrounded by such wonderful people. I’m never sure whether people like these posts, but I asked on Twitter if you’d like to see what I got for Christmas this year, and it was a resounding yes – so here it is.
The one thing I’d asked Santa (my boyfriend) for was a new pair of pyjamas to wear on Christmas morning and I was lucky to receive two pairs – one gorgeous pair adorned with woodland animals from Fat Face, and a classic navy pair from Jack Wills. I also received this pretty pink sweatshirt from Jack Wills which is perfect for lounging around the house. My boyfriend kindly gave me a new Topshop dressing gown – I received a similar one last year that I lived in, so was in desperate need for a new one.
Clothes wise, I received a beautiful jumper from Anthropologie which I’d had my eye on since I first spotted it in Edinburgh, so was touched to receive it from my boyfriend – he’s so good at taking hints! I also received a selection of beautiful underwear from Jack Wills and Calvin Klein which are so delicate and pretty – I can’t wait to wear them.
some gorgeous treats from Jo Malone. I received a Blackberry & Bay candle
and bath oil which is one of my favourite fragrances from the brand so I was
over the moon. I also received a cologne in Wild Bluebell which I love as my
boyfriend chose it himself which makes it that extra bit special. Talking of
fragrance, my sister also bought me the new Miu Miu perfume which I’ve wanted
since I first smelt it a few months ago and my Grandma bought me a Jimmy Choo perfume.
Last but by no means least, as if my boyfriend hadn’t already bought me enough – he surprised me with a trip to New York to celebrate New Years Eve! We’re heading out tomorrow and will be spending 5 days there to soak up the Christmas atmosphere, see the sights and hit the sales. Speaking of sales, my lovely parents kindly gave me some money for Christmas which I’m looking forward to spending in New York.
