I have a borderline obsession when it comes to nail polish. My collection has very quickly and very swiftly grown out of hand (good pun) - to the point of sheer ridiculousness. I do not even have enough fingers, nor the time to use them all regularly. Saying that, Oriflame recently sent me a new polish from their Giordani Gold line to try.
I was sent the Pearly Nude shade* which is an incredibly pretty pinky-peach nude with very delicate aspects of gold running through. I found this product nigh on impossible to photograph, so you can't even see the gold effect and will just have to take my word for it!
The Lacque Brilliance range consists of five shades that deliver long lasting colour and high shine in one coat. The formula contains a Fortifying Complex which works to strengthen and protect nails against signs of ageing. Having worn acrylics for years, my nails have only more recently got back to their normal strength, so to have a polish that strengthens at the same time as looking fabulous, is a winner for me.
This polish went on streak free and lasted around 5-6 days before chipping which was excellent and I'd definitely be interested in trying more of the shades in the range (particularly the red). Oriflame's Giordani Gold range cost £8.95 and can be purchased here. The shade range is limited at the moment, and to successfully compete with the similarly priced Essie, I'd hope to see a wider choice introduced!
